IIC Academy S-5B Hydrographic Surveyor Program Commences

This week the IIC Academy proudly launched the 2024-25 Global delivery of the IBSC Recognised S-5B Hydrographic Surveyor Program. The occasion was marked with virtual opening ceremonies in Australasia and Europe, with heartfelt Welcome to Country for the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Island students.
In this year’s Program the Academy are thrilled to have students from around the world including Trinidad, the UK, Kiribati, New Zealand and Australia. These students are also diverse in age, gender and experience, with several mature and experienced students, as well as students who ase a the start of their professional hydrographic career.
This Program runs until the end of February. Then will meet in again in April for review before finally meet in person in the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia in May 2025!
A special thanks is noted to our incredible partners - Seismic Asia Pacific, SandMap, and QPS - whose support is instrumental in ensuring the success of our S-5B Hydrographic Surveying Program practical next year.
