IIC acquires DMC II 230 : IC Technologies is pleased to announce the acquisition of ZI Imaging’s state of art digital mapping camera the DMC II 230. IIC’s new equipment augments the existing capabilities and strengthens the end to end offering from data acquisition to finished product. The large format capability and high performance, along with its unmatched radiometric and geometric resolution, will help IIC to deliver increased productivity and quality to our customers. IIC’s aerial data acquisition capabilities were showcased at India Geospatial Forum 2012, held in Gurgaon during February 2012.
Multibeam training Course : The IIC Academy, the educational arm of IIC Technologies, has recently successfully completed the first ever training course in India for Hydrographic Surveyors in Multibeam survey techniques. The course was held at Visakhapatnam, supported by the Visakhapatnam Port Trust. The course was attended by thirteen participants from a range of oceanographic agencies and ports as well as private sector hydrographic surveyors and students. The five-day training program was led by bathymetric experts from Canada, Mike Brissette of MosaicHydro and IIC’s Véronique Jégat. The next course will be announced soon.
